Hungarian FM Péter Szijjártó has confirmed he regularly contacts Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov during private EU meetings following
reports alleging routine communication during breaks in Brussels meetings. Szijjártó said talking to other partners is the essence of diplomacy.
