Once again, the visual mastery of the Avatar franchise is undermined by an afterthought of a screenplay that this time boils down to: “Let’s fecklessly rehash the previous film but instead of focusing on water, let’s give fire some screen time. Oh, and a sky beam. Let’s add a sky beam.”
